What could be simpler than squares, but using different sizes and joined in a way to create a striking quilt top.  You only need to use 2 fabrics or 2 different colourways for this traditional styled top.

Kimono Magic is a “Revelation Burning” workshop using a preprinted panel by Kona Bay Textiles and converting it into an individual piece of work. Everything you need for your jelly roll quilt is included in the price along with lunch, so all you need to bring is your board, cutter, ruler and sewing machine.

Trip around the world is an old but a traditional design. This is strip piecing and rotary cutting.

Christmas Table Runner with Sarah Soward - 10 Spaces

Make a stunning but simple table runner to fit your own table, however long or short it may be. A sweing machine is needed as you will finish this in a weekend. I promise.

Workshops that run once a month or every other week

A Picture Book Quilt with S Lockie - 12 Spaces
Wednesday 10.30 - 12.30 : £30

Picture book images of animals - what better for a child or baby!  An Applique Quilt, made by hand or machine using simple images and quilting as you go.

Weekly Classes - in September

Days and times for classes are as follows:

£39 for 12 Classes run every week - Instructed by Mrs Steve Lockie

£35 for 7 Classes run every other week - Instructed by Mrs Sarah Soward

BOOKING

A non-refundable/non-transferrable £5 deposit is required to secure your place on each workshop. Provisional bookings by telephone must be paid within 5 days. Full payment must be made 2 weeks prior to the workshop/class commencing. Failure to pay may result in loss of place. We can accept the full payment for workshops/classes by credit card.

SEWING MACHINE HIRE

Sewing machines are available for hire at a charge of £5 per day. If you need to hire a machine please request it when you book the workshop.

CANCELLATION

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible, we may be able to fill your place, if we can we will refund your payment less a £5 administration fee.

PLEASE NOTE

Any workshops where a sewing machine is required, it is helpful if you bring your manual.

All workshops are held at Pauline's Patchwork Brewers Quay, Hope Square Weymouth. To get to Brewers Quay just follow the brown signs to the Time walk. Tea and coffee is available all day along with soft drinks.

If you are a group (minimum of six) and you wish to do a workshop and it's not on the list then give Sarah or Pauline a ring and we will see what we can do for you.
